Terrell Hopkins - Owner, CEO & Instructor

With over 45 years of drumming experience and a decade of teaching, Terrell Hopkins is dedicated to sharing his passion for music with students of all ages. Terrell’s goal is to create a supportive environment that fosters creativity and helps each student unlock their musical potential.

Ian Cooper - Drum Instructor

With 7 years of drumming experience and 6 years in his school band, Ian brings a strong foundation in rhythm, discipline, and performance to every lesson. His skills have been recognized on a competitive stage, having placed 3rd in Jazz Region on drumset.

But what sets Ian apart is his ability to read music fluently and translate that skill into clear, effective teaching. He's passionate about helping students build a real understanding of music theory and rhythm — not just how to play, but how to think like a musician.

Whatever your child's goals — mastering the basics, reading sheet music with confidence, or developing their own sense of groove — Ian creates a supportive space where skill and passion for music can grow together.

Jeremiah Kamau - Pianist, Composer, and Teacher

With four years of dedicated study in piano performance and music theory, Jeremiah brings a rich background in classical, jazz, Baroque, and Romantic music — plus a growing catalog of original compositions for piano and voice.

But what sets Jeremiah apart is his passion for teaching. He believes technique, theory, and creativity should grow hand in hand, and he brings that philosophy into every lesson. Through years working with youth programs, church music, and educational internships, he's learned how to connect with students of every age and skill level.

Whatever your goals — mastering the basics, understanding music theory, or finding your own artistic voice — Jeremiah creates a warm, encouraging space where confidence and curiosity can flourish.

Kayla Collier - Piano, Voice, and Guitar Instructor

Kayla is a passionate and experienced music teacher who offers lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she developed her love for music at a young age through spending time singing and playing guitar with her father. Those early experiences, including performing together in recitals, sparked a lifelong passion for music and performance.
Kayla’s musical journey continued with the Texas Girls’ Choir, where she sang from ages 10 to 16 and advanced to the prestigious Carter Concert Choir. During her time with the choir, she had the incredible opportunity to travel internationally, including performing outside Westminster Abbey in England and being invited to sing for the Pope in Vatican City. She later attended Texas Wesleyan University, where she earned her degree in music in 2019 with a concentration in voice. While in college, she was selected as one of only 16 singers in the university’s top Chamber Choir and studied under respected musicians including Dr. Jerome Bierschenk, Allison Ward, and Julie Whittington McCoy.
As a teacher, Kayla is dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident and excited to learn. With experience across multiple instruments, she is able to tailor lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests, helping them build strong fundamentals while also fostering creativity and a genuine love for music. She believes that music education should be both structured and enjoyable, encouraging students to grow not only as musicians but as confident individuals.
Outside of teaching, Kayla enjoys building LEGO sets and creating art to display in her home. She also loves spending time with her husband and her three chihuahuas, Ellie, Luca, and Leila.

Jabari Mosoti - Piano Instructor

With over 10 years of playing experience and two years of teaching, Jabari brings a rare blend of technical skill and creative versatility to the piano. His journey began with formal lessons and grew into self-directed study — building both a strong foundation and a distinctive musical voice, with roots in classical piano and a passion for contemporary worship and gospel music.

But what sets Jabari apart is his teaching philosophy. Rather than teaching by rote, he helps students build genuine musical understanding — encouraging confidence, independent thinking, and real emotional connection to the music they play. As an active performer himself — currently serving as pianist at Dallas New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church and Grace Chapel, and as a vocalist with Sifa Music Group and ECA Music Group — Jabari brings real-world musicianship into every lesson.

Whatever your goals — building technique, developing musicality, or finding your own artistic voice — Jabari welcomes students of all ages and skill levels and creates a space where confidence and creativity can grow together.
